The Swan Valley has quickly become a popular tourism destination for people visiting Perth. With a much shorter travel distance when compared to Margaret River, a comfortable half day trip is easily viable. The region is noted for its fertile soil and food producers, most notable are the olive groves, coffee roasters, cheese farms, honey farms, a goat farm, dried-fruit producers, lavender farm and a wide range of great quality restaurants.
